digby in Lincolnshire is a small village; in 1956 a 4,000 year old polished Neolithic stone axe was found in Digby Fen. It is currently in Lincoln museum. There is a Gothic style church with a tall spire, the churchyard is said to be haunted. The village also has a circular village lock up and a stone buttercross in the centre, both of which date back to medieval times. There is now convenience shops, like a post office.
