easton has a population of about 100 and is located just off the A1 near Colsterworth. Easton Hall was bought by Sir Henry Cholmeley in 1592 with with his direct descendant Sir Montague Cholmeley rebuilt the village in the early 19th Century. The main house was pulled down in 1951 after the occupation of the army during the war. The Cholmeley family still live in the village.
